YouTube Creators Studio Camp – Plan, Film, and Edit Your Own Videos

***The videos created by the students will be given to parents at the end of the camp.

Plan, Film, and Edit Your Own Videos

In YouTube Creators Studio Camp, campers learn what it takes to create videos from start to finish—just like real content creators. This camp is perfect for kids who enjoy gaming videos, YouTube creators, or telling stories and want to learn how videos are made behind the scenes.

Campers use real creator tools such as cameras, lighting, green screens, props, and video editing software to plan, film, and edit their own videos. They experiment with different video styles while learning how creators capture attention and tell a story on screen.

Throughout the week, campers work on projects such as:
Creating a channel intro or gaming-style introduction video
Filming a green screen adventure or creative scene
Producing a game review, commentary, or tutorial-style video
Planning and editing a creative choice project like a skit or challenge
No prior video or editing experience is required. Our instructors guide campers step by step, help build confidence on camera (or behind it), and adjust projects so every camper can work at their own pace.
As with all our camps, time is balanced between on-screen creation and off-screen activities, including:
Planning and scripting ideas
Practicing presentations and camera skills
Reviewing and improving videos together
Videos do not need to be published online. The focus is on creativity, teamwork, and learning how digital content is created—not on internet fame.
YouTube Creators Studio Camp is great for kids ages 7–14 who enjoy gaming, creativity, and expressing themselves through video.
