Create a Mystery-Style Game Inspired by Among Us

In Roblox Game Design: Imposternauts, campers design a Roblox game inspired by Among Us and classic group games like Werewolf or Mafia. Instead of playing the game, campers learn how this style of game is designed and built, focusing on rules, roles, and player interaction.
Campers create a game where players have different roles, complete tasks, and work through challenges based on logic and observation. They decide how the game starts, how players interact, and what needs to happen for someone to win.

Throughout the week, campers work on projects such as:
Designing player roles and objectives
Creating tasks and challenges for players
Setting rules and win conditions
Testing and refining how the game flows
Some familiarity with Roblox is helpful, but no prior coding experience is required. Instructors provide hands-on support, help campers work through challenges, and adjust activities so all students can participate at their own level.
As with all our camps, time is balanced between on-screen creation and off-screen activities, including:
Planning game ideas
Group problem-solving discussions
Play-testing and giving feedback
This mix keeps campers engaged, moving, and thinking—while still having fun creating games.
Roblox Game Design: Imposternauts is great for kids ages 7–14 who enjoy Roblox, like strategy or mystery games, and want to learn how interactive games are created behind the scenes.
